*This is an advanced practice and not suitable for beginners or yogis with knee or hip injuries/issues.
Yin, Yang, Restorative Yoga–what’s the difference?
Everything! Let me show you.
Join me for this two-hour workshop.
Plow, Shoulder-stand & Fish
Learn how to practice and/or teach these essential postures safely and effectively.
Appropriate warm-ups, modifications, variations, and adjustments make the poses suitable for any level. For years I was scared of the Plow and Shoulder Stand; I could not breathe and would panic. So, for a very long time I watched everyone else believing that I could not do them. Let me show you how to overcome your limitations and take your practice or teaching to a new level.
Pure Yin: A Journey with Self
In this experiential workshop we will explore the physical, energetic, and meditative aspects of Yin Yoga through two practices.
We will begin with an intense (deep) Hip/Gall Bladder Sequence followed by a journey through the Chakras. YIN is the female energy in the body. The lower half of our body is YIN. The practice is often referred to as yoga for the joints (specifically the hip joints) and likened to self-acupuncture.
Please Note: this workshop is not suitable for beginners or people with knee injuries
The above workshops are suitable for students and teachers alike. Angie is available to teach these workshops at your studio or on demand at Breathe.
**The following workshops are also available on demand. If interested, please email Angie.
